City leaders
and community organizers recently met at DeJean
Middle School for an event entitled “Greening
Richmond” to share information about
the effects of global warming and offer resources

Butt, Assemblywoman Loni Hancock and community organizer Whitney Dotson.
Participants
visited tables and booths staffed by representatives from local businesses who

solar panels, biofuels, sustainable products, public transportation and more.
