to the Warriors Foundation in celebrity game

From the Globe Sports Desk

Led by recording artist and actor Ice Cube, former lightweight and welterweight champ Sugar Shane Mosley and actor Donald Faison, the NBA Entertainment League (NBAE League) played an all-star charity game last Friday following the Golden State Warriors game versus the Sacramento Kings at The Arena in Oakland.

Celebrities from television, music and film played in the annual NBAE celebrity basketball
game benefiting Bay Area organizations at The Arena in Oakland last Friday
.

As part of the NBA Cares initiative, during the Warriors game NBAE League partners HANNspree and 2K Sports presented the Warriors Foundation with a $10,000 donation.
In addition, the Warriors played host to over 300 children, who had the opportunity to meet and mingle with the celebrity hoopsters that evening.
The NBAE League features some of Hollywood’s biggest names. The players participate in charity games for local and national organizations, including Suns Night Hoops, the Oakland Children’s Hospital, the Lamar Odom Foundation, the Mark Wahlberg Foundation and the Staples Center Foundation.
By providing financial support and unique resources, the Golden State Warriors Foundation strives to meet the social, educational and cultural needs of the Oakland and Bay Area community.
