“Miracle Ministries has been in existence for over five years as a 12- to 24-month self-paced recovery and transition program that takes men and women through various segments,” said Newman. “During each segment men and women are challenged to overcome the obstacles in their lives, and we prepare them to face and conquer the areas that have hindered them from being productive and successful in society.”
Harris started Miracle Temple in 1973, and he and his wife, Jeanette, launched Miracle Ministries Men’s Recovery and Transition Residential Program in August 2000. “The program was created and developed to ignite men to renew their lives spiritually, personally and professionally,” he said.
“Because of our commitment to have a ministry that extends beyond the church walls, we also opened a Women’s Recovery and Transition Residential Program in 2001. Both programs have been sustained thus far only by our personal funds.”
The couple is also working on the Pebbles and BamBam Child Care Program, the Catch the Vision Residential and Commercial Cleaning Co. and the Green Pastures Landscaping/Construction Team.
