Richmond Recreation plans information day

From the Globe Richmond Desk

The Richmond Recreation Department will offer its annual recreation information day on May 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Nicholl Park, located at 3230 Macdonald Ave.
“The recreation information day is an opportunity for the community to come out and sample our programs, register for summer programs, receive information, have fun and learn about health fitness, which is our theme for the kids this summer — ‘Kids in Motion,’” said Recreation Department Director Keith Jabari.
“As a new recreation department, we are very excited about this summer and the variety of programs that we have to offer to the Richmond community.”
The event will include food, games and prizes.
For more information, call the Recreation Department at (510) 620-6793.
