Sundays in the Redwoods concert series
to run through Oct. 12

The fourth annual Sundays in the Redwoods free outdoor concert series will continue weekly through Oct. 12 at Woodminster Amphitheater in Joaquin Miller Park.
    Hosted by the Oakland Office of Parks and Recreation and Councilwoman Jean Quan, the free concert series will feature a wide variety of local, regional and international acts.
    This season’s all-star lineup includes Latin, reggae, classical, inspirational, gospel, jazz and neo-soul artists.
    Performances begin at 2:30 p.m. Limited complimentary shuttle service is offered from the Fruitvale BART station. Table reservations are available for a fee.
