HBCU Family Day planned for June 28

An HBCU Family Day will take place on Saturday, June 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Martin Luther King Jr. Shoreline Point.
    The event is presented by Alabama A&M, Alabama State, Alcorn State, Dillard, Fisk, Grambling State, Lemoyne-Owen, Lincoln, Prairie View A&M, Tuskegee University, Langston, Texas Southern, Southern University, Xavier University, Spelman, Shaw, Morehouse, Stillman, Florida A&M, Mississippi Valley State, Central State, Morgan State, UAPB of Pine Bluff, Jackson State, Howard University, Bennett, Hampton University and North Carolina Central University.
